• Profile data: player bios, photos, bowling action images, and shareable profile slugs that you choose to upload or edit.
• Club and membership data: club registrations, club memberships, roles (owner/viewer), invites, and join requests.
• Payment data: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. We do not store full payment card details — these are handled by Stripe.
• Cricket statistics:match scorecards, player performances, and related data imported from Play-Cricket using your club's API key.
• Usage and analytics data: anonymised or pseudonymised information about how you use the site via Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

• Provide and maintain your account, club dashboards, player profiles, and stats.
• Process membership subscriptions, trials, and complimentary tier entitlements.
• Send essential service communications such as account or billing notifications.
• Improve the platform and diagnose performance issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. Legal basis for processing

Under UK data protection law, we process your personal data on the basis of: (a) the performance of our contract with you; (b) compliance with legal obligations; (c) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service; and (d) your consent, where required (for example, for non-essential cookies or optional profile features).

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the platform:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Vercel — hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring.
• Play-Cricket (ECB)— source of match and player statistics imported using your club's API key.

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

6. Club owners and member data

When a club owner registers a club, we import and display statistics for that club's players. Club owners are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate authority and consent to share club member data with us. We act as a data processor for club-related player data imported at the direction of the club owner, who acts as the data controller.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers (such as Supabase, Stripe, and Vercel) may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand site usage and performance. You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
